Band information
Deprivation hail from Orange NSW. This Melodic thrash 5 piece have toured the country extensively since their beginning in 2006.
Since then the boys have released a 2008 E.P. "Re-Birth" and shared the stage with bands such as: Frankenbok, The Amenta, The Berkerker, Double Dragon, Truth Corroded, Lynchmada, Daysend, Five Star Prison Cell, Frenzal Rhomb, Karnivool and.... Laura Imbruglia (ha!)
The band consists of vocalist Ben Weber’s ever beastly delivery transcended into dominance whilst on stage, underlining the band’s overall tight set built on drummer Albert Bevan’s flying limbs. Fast, clean and intricate guitar playing from Lachlan Harrison shows his skill with a presence of ease, enjoying himself on stage without pretense.
A new addition to the group is Orry Swann on bass and George Olsen on 2nd Guitar, brings a thumping bottom end with an energetic perfomance.
Deprivation always deliver a heavy set with proficient skill and presence, these boys know how to command attention from their audience without exerting arrogance nor becoming pretentious.
Expect to see a full length release late 2010/early 2011
