Band information
Detravine (pronounced "detra veen") was formed in early 2005 by Ross and Phil in Deniliquin in southern NSW. The pair began jamming on songs recorded earlier by Ross' previous band and assorted covers; the bassist of Ross' former band, Hickey, joined soon afterwards. Jade and former drummer Ben were recruited shortly afterwards, which lead to the beginnings of Detravine, however Ben departed almost immediately and landed Yinny in his spot. Yinny had to depart the band to pursue other things, and that left the drum stool vacant again. Tommy T replaced him but before much longer Yinny rejoined on vocals.
