Disentomb is a brutal death metal band that formed in Brisbane in 2009. On the strength of a two-track demo the band was picked up by Japanese label Amputated Vein even before playing a single live show. Obsidian Records will release their debut album in Australia in 2010.

On the strength of a two-track demo the band was picked up by Japanese label Amputated Vein even before playing a single live show. Obsidian Records released their debut album in Australia in 2010. Following that release the band has gone from strength to strength; during 2012 the band supported '''Cannibal Corpse''' nationally and appeared at [[Bastardfest]]. Bassist Tom Joice left the band at the beginning of 2013 and was replaced by Jim Parker from [[Entrails Eradicated]] and [[Claim the Throne]].
