Band information
Epitaph was a death metal band from Perth whose only CD was a striking and well conceived mixture of brutal contemporary death and electronic touches, ala In:Extremis, Fear Factory and iNFeCTeD. The band moved to Sydney for a short time to consolidate a following after the release of their EP, but split up shortly afterwards. Vocalist Nigel Grundy later formed Arbitrage and drummer Rob Mijatovic was a member of The Veil for a short time.
Joey Clifford died in a car accident in September 2002.
