Band information
Hacksaw Surgery was formed by Patton and Brown in Orange, NSW as a death and grind band with a stunning use of melody. Gumby joined shortly afterward and began work on a split CD release with Swiss band Embalming Theatre but in the process almost decided to disband. Eventually the split was released in August 2007. Another recording with Ebolie and Death is Everything is planned.
While the band formed in Orange, Brown and Collyer live in Melbourne.
