Band History

Head Incorporated (aka Head Inc.) is a Melbourne hard rock band formed in the Winter of 2002 by Dean Tsolondres and vocalist Buckley, previously of British punk act One Way System. An inspired combination of the likes of Motörhead, Rose Tattoo and southern rock sludge like Black Label Society, Head Inc. released a couple of EPs before signing to Faultline in 2005. The band released a debut full-length album Demons in mid-2006 following the exit of original bass player Tristan Sowerby. Bass on the Demons album was played entirely by Drew Dedman (Superheist) and was recorded at Backbeach Studios in Rye of September - October that year. During that time, the band picked up Julian Medor on bass and immediately started writting material that had a heavier edge resembling the likes of H.I.M and incorporating a more doom type of sound with an old school punk edge, reminiscent of early Alice Cooper on Billion Dollar Babies.

During 2007 the band opened for LA Guns and the dual tour by Ratt and Winger. In the meantime the Pariah album was completed and released by Faultline in October which featured a slicker sound and a catchier and heavier style. Shortly after this, Julian Medor left the group stating "his heart and ethos was not into music anymore" and straight after that drummer Dalton quit the band with an injury. Stephen King from Rose Tattoo joined Head Inc. along with Deon Driver (Fort) in December 2007.

In January 2008 the band toured the UK with The Almighty to blistering reviews and immediately started writting new material. The current line-up of Buckley, King, Tsolondres and Driver is the official line up and the band have already been pencilled in for the European Festivals of Wacken (Germany), Graspop (Belgium) and a return to the UK for another host of shows and have inked a distribution deal with Demolition Records in the UK.
