Band Information

Jesus Anal Penetration is an iconoclastic Adelaide band performing a crushingly brutal brand of death metal with suitably humourous lyrical content. The group formed as a three piece of Trav and brothers Phil and Marty in 1996 but by mid-1998 had fallen apart. As a duo of Trav and Nick a demo was recorded and the band's name was changed to Disciples of Mockery. Brandon joined in early 1999 followed by Jak a short time later. Due to a name clash with an American band, Disciples of Mockery reverted to the name Jesus Anal Penetration. "Kill Kill Kill" was recorded shortly afterward and released on vinyl. In 2001, the band recorded some further tracks that were included on a split with fellow Adelaide act Oni. Jesus Anal Penetration seems to be still together even though they have done little for several years.
