Welcome to the Australian Metal Guide!

Check out the Gig Guide now.

Welcome to The Australian Metal Guide, the infrequently updated companion to the Darkstar Publications book Encyclopaedia of Australian Heavy Metal. This site used to be a fully-functional user-contributing wiki, but got so slammed with spam that the functionality was turned off. I am mostly using this page now as a reference archive for further editions of the book but it will be continually revised and added to so please keep visiting. The navigation area is on the left under the logo. Stay awhile... I promise I won't keep you long.

For enquiries, gripes, suggestions, etc. email annex@bigpond.net.au.

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
