Skintilla is an Adelaide band whose first release featured some heavy power metal with something of a groove. The second album has a heavier, modern thrash vibe that draws from the likes of '''Pantera''' and '''Machine Head'''. After the release of ''Kranker'' the band changed dramatically until only Burgess was left with Skintilla again heading into a power/traditional metal direction, albeit more convincingly than on the first EP. Benyk is now with [[Diatribe]].
