Formed

Melbourne, VIC, 2000

Band Information

Steel Affliction was a thrash metal band from Melbourne that formed in 2000, with the stated aim of being the greatest heavy metal band imaginable! Kornov was from Earth via Repugnance and Wilcock has played with both Abramelin and The Berzerker. The band released an album of furious thrash metal madness in mid-2003.

Steel Affliction played their last show in February 2005 due to Wilcock joining British black metal band Akercocke. Simon has since formed Elrazor.
