Band information
Templestowe are a melodic progressive death metal band from Canberra Australia. In mid 2007 the band released their acclaimed 'Self-Titled' EP which received a widespread excellent response from listeners.
In late 2008 the band recruited mixer/engineer Scott Carter (AEON OF HORUS) to record their debut album 'Cimmerian'. Set for release in October 2009 the album features additional engineering by Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, JOB FOR A COWBOY) and mastering by Goran Finnberg (OPETH, INFLAMES, SOILWORK).
After a slew of hi-profile supports in early 2009 including WHITECHAPEL (USA), PSYCROPTIC (AUS) and THE BEZERKER (AUS) vocalist Andy Annand departed the band. His replacement was Jon Hocking (formerly of US grind band Vein of Lunacy).
The band will now concentrate on promoting their debut album and touring extensively.
