Taking their name from a line in ''Macbeth'', Thy Art is Murder is a Sydney band formed in 2006, originally played immediately forgettable deathcore but since evolving to technical death metal. By the end of 2006 the group had already completed a successful tour of Queensland and began working on an EP shortly afterward. "Infinite Death" was released on July 23 2008. The band then set off on a two month national tour with [[Gallows for Grace]].
