Band information
Critical Mass was a twin guitar technical power metal band from Sydney. The group formed out of a covers band called Foreign Order and changed it name when Cecere joined, developing a heavier style. Mark Owen was replaced by Greg Moore, whose vocal style was more in tune with the band's new direction. Critical Mass gigged regularly around Sydney and released an album in 1992. The following year Moore left and Shaw took over vocals with Cecere switching to bass. Ward replaced Huntley, but this line-up never played live and the band ended in 1994. Ward was later the drummer with Cheynestoke.
