Drowning the Light is another black metal outlet for Azgorh of Baal Gadrial and Pestilential Shadows. The first album in a compilation of three previous demos and The Fallen Years is The Longing and Drowned reissued as a double CD. The 2007 album releases are a series of limited-edition cassette issues. Various members of Wardaemonic, Baal Gadrial, Ancient and Nuclear Winter have contributed to these recordings.
