Band information

Dumbsaint is a Sydney post-metal and drone trio that combines ambient, heavy and progessive instrumental music with original video clips, presenting a complete audio and visual experience. Their first release was an independently-produced DVD in 2009. The following year Dumbsaint played a residency at Sydney's Excelsior Hotel and toured along the east coast, leading to supports with the likes of Sleep Parade and Thousand Needles in Red among others. A single in early 2012 was followed shortly after by the debut album. During 2013 Dumbsaint toured with Helm, This Will Destroy You and Twelve Foot Ninja and issued the multi-media EP "The Auteur". The following March the band released the first part of their three-part audio/visual project Disappearance in a Minor Role, a 25-minute work split across three EPs (released in random order).
