Band information

Elysian was a progressive death metal band from Melbourne. The band released a self-titled EP in 2010. Bassist Syph was replaced a few months later by Tristan Tait and during 2011 the band toured the east coast with Ignite the Ibex and Alice Through the Windshield Glass and a short time later did more touring with Synthetic Breed. The band released the full-length album in 2012 and supported it with more touring, including a show with Arch Enemy in late April. Ben Garner departed during the year and was temporarily replaced for live shows by Mitch Alexander as they sought a permanent replacement but Elysian called a hiatus after this and never reactivated.
