Band information
In Malice’s Wake is a four-piece thrash metal band from Melbourne. The band was formed in 2002 by both the Farrugia brothers, with David Lowes and Ben Withers. After releasing a demo in 2003, Withers departed to be replaced by ex-Legion bassist David Graham. In 2005, the band released the EP Blackened Skies. With an album planned for a 2007 release, it wasn't until the following year when Eternal Nightfall was released, with the band embarking on numerous interstate shows across the East Coast shortly after.
In 2009, Withers left the band to be replaced with Luke Blaso, and the band released The Thrashening. After a tour of Australia and New Zealand supporting the album, In Malice's Wake closed off the year by performing at the Sonic Forge Festival and supporting Destruction in November.
