In Your Face began in the early 90s as a fanzine covering the Sydney metal/hard rock scene and covered everything from death metal to bands like The Screaming Jets. In 1998 it was revived as a full-colour, quarterly national magazine printed on newsprint but lasted only four editions before winding up for good.
