Band Information
Necrotomy was one of Australia's first extreme death metal bands, taking its cues from the awakening Florida brutal death-gore scene. The band split after two demos but helped to pave the way for the genre throughout Australia. During one of the periods of controversy regarding imagery in metal, Necrotomy played live on the ABC current affairs program Couchman.
Dean Ruprich did session work for diSEMBOWELMENT and Mark Shuliga later joined Abramelin.
