Splattergasm was formed in the middle of 2008 when Ryanimator and Dr. Abortus both decided that they were bored fo having no goregrind bands in Adelaide, so they decided to form one. Dredknot joined them as he had developed a taste for writting songs about rape and necrophelia, and so Splattergasm was born. Even though they lacked a drummer, the trio practiced at Ryanimator's house in front of a computer with the lyrics and tabs in front of them. It wasn't untill Concusser joined that things got serious and the band began to learn their songs properly and organize gigs. Splattergasm have been giging since July in 2009 and recorded a quick demo not long after. They plan to make newer, better recordings in the near future.
