Band information
The Brave is a metalcore band from Brisbane that was formed in 2013 by Nathan Toussaint, Kurt Thomson, Dave Mead and Daniel Neusom. An early drummer was soon replaced by Kurt's brother Brent. The band's first live show was supporting Dance Gavin Dance late the same year. The Endless EP came out in 2014 and The Brave supported bands like In Hearts Wake and Dream on, Dreamer. The band signed to UNFD soon after and released Epoch in mid-2016, going on to support Falling in Reverse nationally and then touring New Zealand with Northlane.
Dave Mead left The Brave in mid-2018 and was replaced by Denham Lee soon afterward. In early 2019 they toured ahead of releasing Aura mid-year, then toured again in support. The Brave appeared at UNIFY in 2020
