Brutal Ballet Company

Brutal Ballet are Australia's premiere metal ballet company and the first metal company in the world to have male dancers.

The dancers were brought together by 28 year old Thomas Rosten, after he stalked and abducted each of them with the idea of putting together a classical ballet company that dances to metal. His vision of ballerinas being the last place where women were seen as beautiful, graceful and feminine, joined with the masculine power of metal music, was to him, a union of perfection. After the dancers were found by detectives, bound and chained in a large room that had been fitted with ballet barres, mirrors and dance flooring made especially for ballet dancers. They were in excellent health, but having spent so many weeks undiscovered, they had succumbed to Stockholm Syndrome and remained loyal to Rosten after his incarceration, refusing to talk about their time with him, and continuing to rehearse the ballet for him.
