Band information
D-Nine was a heavy hitting outfit from Brisbane that formed around original guitarist Aaron and three former members of Anti-Social in 1998. Aaron eventually left the band and after several months D-Nine reconvened with two lead singers. An east coast tour with Enter VI and Hollow was undertaken in 2001 that took the band to various centres in Queensland, NSW and ACT. Bass player Adam and guitarist Pete were replaced some time after this with Nick and Steve and D-Nine's seventh member Father John had joined by 2003, a year that saw them support Damaged and Strapping Young Lad and appear at Metal for the Brain as well as issue a long-awaited CD. They also appeared at the Overcranked festival every year until they split.
D-Nine called it a day in May 2005, but started jamming again in December 2007. The band played a number of shows in 2008 but don't appear to have contined beyond this.
