Band information
Excarnated was a death/grind band originally formed under the name Hacktician as a duo of Chris and Paul. Gary was quickly recruited into the line-up for their second demo. Chris and Gary were both original members of Antichrist. In 1998 the name change to Excarnated occurred and following the recording of the "Genital Gallery" demo Paul left the band to continue with his bizarre project, Vomitorial Corpulence. Craig (bass) and Chris (drums) then joined to make up the numbers.
At the end of 2000, Gary left Excarnated and Paul returned to play some live shows. Homicidal Decimation was recorded as a two-piece of Chris and Craig and released in mid-2002. Keil and Nader then joined the band, but shortly afterward Craig was let go and Keil stepped aside for personal reasons.
Nowell and Nader recorded "Where the Dead Dream". Keil then rejoined and ex-M.S.I. bassist Nick Warren was also added to the line-up. Live shows began once again and when drummer Matt was found, Excarnated remained stable until June 2005 when Tony departed. Another recording was begun for release in 2006; in March Excarnated supported Disgorge but at the same time Matt announced he was leaving to return to Queensland. With his departure, Excarnated announced that their appearance at the Metalstock festival would be their last show and the band has now ended however its legacy has continued. Nowell and Nader have since formed Sanguineous which is a more extreme version of what Excarnated was doing; Nowell is also with The Nihilistic Front and has a solo project called Pervertum Obscurum and Nick Warren has joined Embodied.
