After forming in 2007, the band recorded a limited-edition EP in 2009 with producer Roman Koester and went on to do support slots with a disparate group of bands like Blessed by a Broken Heart, The Red Shore, Galvatrons and LA Guns over the next year and a half before going on a national tour with Thy Art is Murder. In mid-2011 the band's debut full length was released. Maverick left the band in 2012 after supports with Black Veil Brides and a national tour with LORD. With Dan Brittain taking his place, Electrik Dynamite released a 7" single mid-2013.
