Embrace Eternity was a five-piece metal band originating from Brisbane, Australia. First forming in 2006 with original members Adrian Rosa, Gareth Graham, Dan Ross, David Blackley and Josh Wilkinson, the band went through a series of member changes before prematurely disbanding in 2008. The group re-emerged a few months later with a newly updated line-up, a new style, as well as a new approach to music in the middle of the same year. The group is notoriously recognized for their erratic live performances.

The band has currently released several demos and were signed by Demonicon Records in 2009. Not long after, the band shot their first music video for the track "Ashes In The Wind", on the Gold Coast of Australia. The band then continued to record their debut album, which was released on the 20th August 2010, and included a limited edition two-disc pack, featuring a bonus DVD documentary titled "1 Part South African, 4 Parts Australian", filmed by Her Name Is Murder Productions.
 
On the 26th November 2010, the band posted an update via their website, explaining that they had parted ways with founding member and lead guitarist, Gareth Graham, citing 'musical differences'. Mitch Walker would soon be announced as a replacement a month later. After having received a substantial amount of support while on their 2010 tour, the band announced that material for a new album was being recorded for a possible 2011 release.  


Embrace Eternity performed their last show in February 2011, at the pre-launch party for the Brisbane Soundwave Festival. Brad Swart resigned from his position as lead vocalist for the band, after a confrontation occurred with their manager outside the venue.
