Flesh Mechanic is a Sydney band whose original style hovered close to melodic metalcore. Flesh Mechanic supported Pungent Stench, Skinlab and Opeth in 2003 and featured later in the year at Metal for the Brain.
Murdoch replaced Williams in March 2004 and the band has took on a more distinctly tech-death metal style. Williams joined Infernal Method in mid-2005. Flesh Mechanic supported Behemoth in early 2006 and then disappeared.
