Dyscord is a bad from Perth playing an effective if strictly generic brand of metalcore. The band formed in 2003 and before long began racking up some serious supports to bands like [[Alchemist]] and '''The Mark of Cain''' and then a string of international acts including '''Mudvayne, The Haunted, Static X''' and '''Ill Nino'''.

Originally playing metalcore, they later changed to a modern melodic death metal sound.


In 2006, Dyscord released a six-track EP and toured nationally with '''The Black Dahlia Murder'''. In March 2007 the band toured with '''God Forbid''' and featured at the [[Overcranked]] Festival in Brisbane. After Chuah and Blythman were replaced, the band began work on a full length album that was released in March 2008.

Recording began on their second album after this with ''Tirades'' being released on February 19, 2010. Following this release, Dyscord again toured with '''Daysend''' and appeared later in the year at the first [[Bastardfest]]. The band split up not long afterward.
