Band information
Lump was a hard rock band from the Gold Coast that consolidated around Skenie, the former vocalist for The Poor and three ex-Blackseed members in Scott Jackman, Stew Williams and Gav Hansen. Lump's first EP Here I Am surfaced in mid-2004 and they were added to the bill of the Gold Coast leg of the 2005 Big Day Out. Paper Skin was released the following May and the band supported Fozzy before appearing at the Taste of Chaos festival. In 2006 Lump opened for Black Label Society and played shows with Shihad and The Screaming Jets. In 2007, Lump again played at the Big Day Out before completing their second album Choose Your Weapon. They also supported Helmet. After Skenie and Hansen left to reform The Poor, the rest of the band formed Electric Horse with the Brown brothers from Sunk Loto.
