Leave your thoughts. Make them good, or don't waste my time.

Your questions

There's no need for referencing here. This is the same wiki software as Wikipedia, but it's not Wikipedia. They have all sorts of add-ons and programmers doing stuff. A lot of the stuff on Wikipedia wouldn't work here, like a lot of the templates and stuff they use. Also, I'm looking at adding album details at some point, probably when there's a lot more people working on the site. As for links from band pages to external sites and interviews, etc. That's not a bad idea but I need to develop a format, etc. for it. --Goreripper 12:31, 6 January 2008 (CET)

Templates

Cool. I'm not a programmer so I have no clue about that type of stuff. --Goreripper 02:46, 7 January 2008 (CET)

No harm done --Goreripper 12:01, 27 January 2008 (CET)

Categories

Pharmer, please check with me before adding categories. There is no need for a Bands from ACT category, because there is already a Bands from Canberra one, and it's basically the same thing.--Goreripper 15:18, 7 January 2008 (CET)

No sweat

It's ok to add a new town category, but only if there's more than one band from that town (making a category with one band in it seems a bit pointless) --Goreripper 03:32, 8 January 2008 (CET)

Local bands and links

Even small local bands can be included. That's the point really. I want to include everyone. If you look around you'll find a few bands that don't even really exist outside of MySpace, so as long as they can be considered "metal" chuck 'em in. With the links from the gig guide, etc., I've got no problems with that, but make sure the ones you link are bands that would normally be included on the site as the gig guide includes a lot of bands that aren't metal if they're on a bill with bands that are. --Goreripper 21:44, 8 January 2008 (CET)
