Denouncement Pyre is a Black/Death metal band originally formed under the name Eradicator in 2003. The original line up was Decaylust (guitars, bass, vocals) and J. Eradicator (drums).When Volcano of [[Abominator]] joined, J. Eradicator switched to guitar and the band name was changed to Denouncement Pyre.

The "Storm to End All Wars" demo (2004) was followed by a live recording titled "Barbaric Vengeance" issued on cassette in mid-2005. In the meantime, the band recorded the 7" EP "Under the Aegis of Damnation" (Apocalyptor Records) which was released in May 2006. Next to follow was a mCD released through Forgotten Wisdom Productions titled "Hell's Infantry", released in mid-2006.

In the meantime, the band recorded the 7" EP "Under the Aegis of Damnation" that was released by Apocalyptor Records in May 2006. Next to follow was a mCD released through Forgotten Wisdom Productions titled "Hell's Infantry", released in mid-2006.
In January 2008 the mCD was re-issued on vinyl in the form of a split LP with DIOCLETIAN (NZ). Titled "Chaos Rising" and again handled by Forgotten Wisdom Prod.
 
The start of 2008 also saw the recording of another 7" titled "Circle of the Black Flame" to be released later in the year.
