Almost immediately, they issued the "Absolute Zero" EP that was actually recorded before they entered the contest. The win forged a small platform that allowed them to tour locally but despite persistent hard work for the next two years or so Soulcrusher was unable to develop much of a profile.
Winberg quit the band in early 1999 and the band took a long time off. Although a replacement was found and Soulcrusher continued to play infrequently for some time, the band is no more.
