Band Information

Darkest Dawn came to be in 2006 after The Deadly changed its name. Original bass player Stirling left and was replaced a few months later by Andrew White. Alarum guitarist Scott Young the joined the group and work began on an album. Darkest Dawn's dark Gothic rock sound won a strong following in Melbourne and End of Season was finally released in December 2007. A few months later, Andy Prior was diagnosed with leukaemia and it was decided the band would end after a benefit show for him in May 2008.
