Band Information
Wolfkahn is an extreme metal band from Sydney. Guitarists Spiro Hatziandreou and Pierre Duyker met and formed Rebirth in early 2004, which disbanded two years later when Duyker moved to Wagga Wagga to pursue his university degree. Hatziandreou formed Lake For The Lost with vocalist Chris Elder in 2006, which enjoyed reasonable success in Sydney's metalcore scene until their split in early 2008.
Soon after, Duyker returned to Sydney and talks had already begun with Hatziandreou about starting a new project. After choosing the name Wolfkahn, Luke Martignago (ex-Metal and briefly Daemon Foetal Harvest) was recruited in 2009 and shortly after Elder rejoined as vocalist after a brief stint with Ignite The Ibex. Their self-titled EP was released on June 10, 2010. The band are currently seeking a full-time bass player.
