Band information
Claim the Throne is a Perth band that plays classic Scandinavian-style Viking metal, completing their image by dressing the part and wielding swords on stage. The band released their album Only the Brave Return during 2008, a concept piece based on a book also written by the band members. The band played at Against the Grain in 2009 shortly after the release of their folk-metal oriented EP, "Ale Tales". Early in 2010, Oscarius of Dyscord joined the band ahead of a national tour with Alestorm. The second full-length album Triumph and Beyond is set for a December 2010 release.
Frontman Baronaxe also plays guitar with Red Descending.
