Band information

Full Scale was an aggressive nu-metal band that made considerable headway, eventually moving to the United States and releasing an album on Columbia Records before shattering apart. The group formed in Perth in 1998 under the name Full Scale Deflection with Chris Frey on bass and Nick Frey on drums; a change to the rhythm section with the addition of bassist Rob Kaay and drummer Matty C was followed by the release of the Symptoms of Chaos album which quickly sold out of its initial print run. The group won the WA leg of the National Campus Band Competition in 2000 and played the Perth Big Day Out in early 2001 before moving to Melbourne later in the year. After signing to Pop Star Records, the group shortened its name to Full Scale.

During 2002 Full Scale toured extensively, doing their own shows as well as supporting tours by Shihad and The Butterfly Effect, while recording a wealth of tracks that would be released over the course of two EPs in the following year. In early 2003 Tee was fired and replaced by Ross but after releasing the "Black Arrows" EP and touring with Cog Tee rejoined the band. "White Arrows" was released mid-year and Full Scale then went to LA to record a full length album. On their return in January 2004, they supported Evanescence nationally, followed two months later by a tour with Seven Dust. Mid-2004 they were part of the Army of Darkness tour that also featured Sunk Loto, Frankenbok and New Zealand band 8 Foot Sativa. In December, the group moved to Hollywood after signing to Columbia.

Feel It was released in March 2005 and the band toured the US with Hed PE. With the single "Feel It" doing moderately well however, Full Scale split with its management ahead of a two-month US tour and shortly afterward disbanded. Ezekiel formed Mammal and Robkaay joined Sunk Loto in mid-2006.

Zeke, Crutey and Ross reformed the band briefly in 2010 with bassist Ben Brennan under the name Full Scale Revolution; Zeke formed The Nerve in 2013.
