Band information
Anxiety Whispers was a Sydney band formed by Xie and Cilia in 2000. With a full line-up that included the singer from Jerk on bass, the band developed an energy-charged blend of industrial metal and Goth rock. The band gigged tirelessly around Sydney and up and down the east coast, also releasing an EP called “Toybox” in 2004.
In mid-2005 a further single was announced along with plans for a full-length album but the line-up had fallen apart by September. Early in 2006, after the departure of Cilia, Eden and Devoy to form Ink, Xie announced a completely new Anxiety Whispers line-up but by the end of the year the group had become known as Our Last Enemy.
