Band information

Absolutely not to be confused with the early 90s Sydney art-rock band, Vrag is an exceedingly raw and primitive old school black metal from Sydney, something akin to, say, early Mayhem and Darkthrone, but possibly even coarser still. The band was formed by Vrag Moj and Mroz in early 1999 and existed as a recording project only until mid-2003 when Eternal Dark members Salaah and Wrath joined and Vrag began playing live, evetually embarking on a small scale east coast tour that took them as far as Hobart and playing a show on the joint tour by Virgin Black and Nazxul.

Except for Vrag Moj, all members of the band had departed by mid-2006. A string of rare demos have been released at various times.

Vrag Moj is also an editor of black metal fanzine Procession of Black Doom.
