Band information
Strikingly innovative and original band from Canberra mixing strong, heavy and dark progressive metal with black ambience and industrial trimmings. The band formed in 1996 and recorded their debut CD almost immediately, receiving loud plaudits for the effort.
Kohllapse supported Cathedral in 1997 and released their second full length album in 1999. Drummer Matt Aitchison left the fold in mid-1999 and the band folded, with vague reports of a reactivation in 2006.
