Band information
Amethyst was a Melbourne band aiming for a blend of traditional metal and power/prog with mixed success. The playing was fine and the singing adequate but the songwriting left much to be desired. Larin was ex-Taramis; Endel Rivers (keys) and bass player Evan Harris (Taramis) also played on the band's releases.
