Band Information

Wolfkahn was an extreme metal band from Sydney. Guitarists Spiro Hatziandreou and Pierre Duyker met and formed Rebirth in early 2004, which disbanded two years later when Duyker moved to Wagga Wagga to pursue his university degree. Hatziandreou formed Lake For The Lost with vocalist Chris Elder in 2006, which enjoyed reasonable success in Sydney's metalcore scene until their split in early 2008.

Later that year, Duyker returned to Sydney and talks had already begun with Hatziandreou about starting a new project. After choosing the name Wolfkahn, Luke Martignago (ex-Metal and briefly Daemon Foetal Harvest) was recruited in 2009 and shortly after Elder rejoined as vocalist after a brief stint with Ignite The Ibex. Their self-titled EP was released on June 10, 2010. Later in the year, Elder was asked to leave the band and after unsuccessful auditions for a new singer, Duyker took on vocal duties. Bass duties were filled in by various session members until Shannon Zivkovic of New Blood joined in August 2011.

After months of inactivity, Wolfkahn announced they had disbanded in March 2013.
