Band Information
Kania is a metalcore band from the NSW town of Lithgow that formed in late 2003 around Marty Warren (then the band's guitarist) and Ellery. The band had issued a four track demo called "Prophecy" in 2004 and by mid-year John Abberton had taken over on bass from Peter Knight. He was in turn replaced by Case and Kania released an EP and toured interstate before facing further line-up changes when Ellery and Holmes both left mid-2005.
Since then more line-up changes have occurred, with the current line-up featuring McManus on vocals and former Casket Slumber member Burroughs on guitar. The band’s live and recorded activity appears to have ceased for the time being.
