Band Information
Post Life Disorder was a Brisbane three piece with a musical style that tends to drift between long, epic, bottom-feeding sludge rock pieces one moment and abrasive metalcore the next. International supports to the likes of Entombed and Skinlab and a strong debut mini-CD brought the band plenty of attention and they featured at Metal for the Brain in 2000 and again in 2001. The following year they supported Kittie and started work on the full length album. Post Life Disorder finished 2002 by supporting Destruction; the album saw release in early 2003 after PLD had featured at the Gold Coast Big Day Out. Since then, Post Life Disorder has been on an indefinite break, but attempted to reactivate in 2010 with Dan Owens (D9) and Pete Saunders (Sausage Chopper) in place of Julian Turpin but nothing came of it.
With Kent Haines from Lynchmada, Anthony Palmer was the promoter of Brisbane’s Overcranked festival and was briefly Astriaal's bass player. He was later a member of the Dreamkillers.
