Band information
Alkira is a thrash band from Strathalbyn in South Australia, formed in 2010. Following a solid year of gigging the band released 'Down From the Hills' in 2012 and then opened locally for Fear Factory and Warbringer along with touring WA and NT. In 2013 Alkira released the 'Red Devil' EP, supported Municipal Waste and played at Brisbane's Dead of Winter Festival in July. Early the next year the band toured SE Asia with Havok and played Victorian shows with King Parrot.
