Formed
Sydney, NSW, 1999
Band information
Formed in 1999 and known originally as Defcon, Apolyom was a Sydney thrash band that began playing live in early 2002. A couple of strong demos showed a band with plenty of ability and potential but internal issues caused Apolyom to split in late 2004. Todd Querruel joined Celestial almost immediately. Shayne Querruel formed MurderWorld in early 2005.
