This band was formed by former Psi.Kore bassist Dourian in Sydney in 2005. After linking up with Padmore and ex-Addictive, Dungeon and Vaticide drummer Moore, the band moved to Brisbane and recruited Dennis (ex-Piano Wire). The group has recorded a string of demos since and recruited a second guitarist during 2008.
In 2009 the band changed its name to Athermae.
