Band Information

Nothing Sacred formed in 1982 as Vengeance before becoming Heresy, combining the sound of American thrash with some NWOBHM influences. In 1983 the group's name became Nothing Sacred. The next year the group released the EP "Death Wish" and began gigging solidly throughout the east coast. The band was also set to open for Megadeth on the Melbourne leg of their canceled Australian tour.

In 1987 Let Us Prey was issued and found minor release in Europe. Lean, Hughes and Woolley also featured on the first Hobbs' Angel of Death demo and Woolley then joined that band as Nothing Sacred prepared to record a second album. However, personal problems ended the group in 1989. A single show was played in 1993 to celebrate the band's 10th anniversary. Burnham later joined Seizure and Browne and Larin went to Taramis. Lean now has a project called Temujin.
