Band Information

Colossus, now more commonly stylised as COLOSSVS, is an extreme metal band that formed in Melbourne in 2010. The band's infectious blend of extreme metal, punk and hardcore quickly won them a solid following despite the existence of almost no recordings. Following a busy 2013 that included touring with Palm and Asecretdeath, Colossus toured SE Asia in early 2014, after which Christopher Tew was replaced by The Racket announcer Lochlan Watt (ex-Nuclear Summer). Their first album appeared almost immediately and the band played tours with Psycroptic and Birds in a Row and at Hammersonic in Indonesia in early 2015. 2015 has been a busy year with a string of tours including those with Suffocation and Decapitated, Psycroptic and The Black Dahlia Murder and King Parrot and High Tension.
