Band information
Denouncement Pyre is a Black/Death metal band originally formed under the name Eradicator in 2003. The original line up was Decaylust (guitars, bass, vocals) and J. Eradicator (drums). When Volcano of Abominator joined, J. Eradicator switched to guitar and the band name was changed to Denouncement Pyre.
The "Storm to End All Wars" demo of 2004 was followed by a live recording titled Barbaric Vengeance issued on cassette in mid-2005. In the meantime, the band recorded the 7" EP "Under the Aegis of Damnation" that was released by Apocalyptor Records in May 2006. Next to follow was a mCD released through Forgotten Wisdom Productions titled "Hell's Infantry", released in mid-2006.
In January 2008 the mCD was re-issued on vinyl in the form of a split LP with Diocletain from New Zealand, entitled Chaos Rising and again handled by Forgotten Wisdom. The start of 2008 also saw the recording of another 7" titled "Circle of the Black Flame" to be released later in the year.
Denouncement Pyre recorded the first full-length album World Cremation in early 2010 which was released August 2010 on Hells Headbangers Records.
A second album is currently in the works.
