Band information
Ritual of the Oak came to be in September 2008 when the four remaining members of Transcending Mortality decided to end that band so they could take their music into a doom direction. After a short time Mike Zoias left and was replaced by Sabine Hamad-Linfoot from Lycanthia. The band released their debut in November 2009. Hour of Judgement was made available as a CD or double etched vinyl release. During 2010, Nathaniel Smith departed and former The Amenta member Dale Harrison joined the band. A second album has since been released.
